I’m Dave King, the person behind the blog, and just like you, I stumbled into the world of tent camping and discovered something bigger than just a place to sleep outside.

I started Tent Explorer to share my journey of learning how something as simple as pitching a tent and sitting by a fire could clear the mind, spark creativity, and reconnect us with the world around us.
